WKSOUND is the collaboration between sound designers James Welburn (Berlin) and Matthias Kispert (London). Launched in late 2000 in London, our mission from the start was to produce high quality, innovative sound design with a distinctive edge.

We produce music and sound effects to your requirements, yet aim to steer clear of formularic solutions. By fusing experimental working strategies with professional production, we succeed in using the potential of sound to the full.

We develop new ideas and perspectives tailored to each individual project and realize them with attention to detail and focussed overall production. This enables us to integrate all elements (music, effects, dialogue and voice over) into a seamless and striking composition.

Our work covers a variety of media and applications, including: Idents, film, TV, advertising, animation, web sites, CDROMs, DVDs, installations.
